Single dosing on the Eureka Helios 65 and 80
The Helios 65 runs 65 mm hardened steel flat burrs at about 1370 rpm from a 280 W motor, dispensing at up to roughly 5 g per second, with a 1.2 kg bean hopper on top. The Helios 80 moves up to 80 mm titanium-coated flat burrs. Both are built as commercial on-demand grinders.
That 1.2 kg hopper is the part that does not suit single dosing. This hopper replaces it, so you load one weighed dose, grind, then press the silicone bellows to clear grounds from the burr chamber and exit path.
What the numbers look like
Published figures for the Helios 80 put retention at roughly 0.5–0.7 g once a bellows hopper is used together with modification of the exit chute. This product is the bellows half of that setup — it does not modify your chute, and we are not going to claim a retention figure for your specific machine. What it does is give you a way to push out grounds that would otherwise sit in the chamber between doses.
Version 3
Every unit we ship today is Version 3. The bellows is a custom branded, factory moulded silicone part — it is no longer 3D printed, as our earlier versions were.

Fitting
This hopper is made for the grinder named on this page. Fit tolerances vary between units and production runs, so minor adjustment may be needed to seat it perfectly on your grinder. Every unit is covered by our 2 year warranty.
