Single dosing on the Conti CG100
The CG100 is a low to mid volume outlet grinder: 64 mm flat burrs, a 1380 rpm motor, output around 9 kg per hour, three dose settings and on-demand grinding. It stands 610 mm tall, weighs about 11 kg, and carries a 1.2 kg bean hopper.
Everything in that specification points at a cafe: fill the hopper, set your doses, work through the day. It is a sensible grinder for that job.
The problem when the job changes
Used for single dosing — at home, or dialling in roasts — the 1.2 kg hopper is the wrong shape for the work. You cannot change coffee without emptying it, and beans sit above the burrs going stale between sessions.
This hopper replaces it so each dose is weighed in individually. Grind, then press the silicone bellows to push grounds out of the burr chamber and chute rather than leaving them for the next dose. On a 64 mm burr set feeding an 18 g dose, that carry-over is a real proportion of what ends up in the basket.
Version 3
Every unit we ship today is Version 3. The bellows is a custom branded, factory moulded silicone part — it is no longer 3D printed, as our earlier versions were.

Fitting
This hopper is made for the grinder named on this page. Fit tolerances vary between units and production runs, so minor adjustment may be needed to seat it perfectly on your grinder. Every unit is covered by our 2 year warranty.
