A replacement bellows, not a conversion
We want to be straight with you before you add this to a basket. The DF64 is already a single dose grinder. It has no bean hopper at all — it ships with a small bellows-topped dosing cup, and published retention with that stock bellows fitted sits around 0.2 to 0.4 g in normal use, dropping further with careful technique.
So this product does not turn your DF64 into a single dosing grinder. It already is one. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something you own.
What it is for
It is a replacement. Silicone bellows are a consumable: they get pressed several times a day, they collect coffee oils, and eventually they split, perish or stop sealing. When that happens the grinder still works but you lose the puff of air that clears the chamber, and retention climbs back up.
This is our v3 blow-out hopper built to fit the DF64, so you can replace a failed bellows rather than live without one. It uses the same factory moulded silicone we fit across the range, with a locking lid ring and an air-leak prevention gasket.
The rest of the specification
For reference, the DF64 runs 64 mm stainless steel flat burrs from a 250 W direct drive motor at around 1400 rpm, with stepless adjustment. Burrs are commonly swapped for aftermarket sets, which is another reason a spare bellows is worth having on the shelf — burr changes mean handling the top of the grinder.
Version 3
Every unit we ship today is Version 3. The bellows is a custom branded, factory moulded silicone part — it is no longer 3D printed, as our earlier versions were.

Fitting
