Single dosing on the Urbanic 080
This bellows hopper is cut for the Urbanic 080. As with several of the less widely distributed grinders we make parts for, we have not put burr or hopper figures on this page — we could not source them from a manufacturer specification, and a plausible-looking number we cannot verify is not worth having.
What you get
A hopper sized for one dose in place of the stock bean container, topped with a factory moulded silicone bellows. You weigh out the coffee you want, load it, grind it, then press the bellows so the air clears grounds from the burr chamber and chute.
Why it is worth doing
Two reasons, and they are separate. The first is freshness and flexibility: no beans sitting in a hopper between sessions, and no emptying required to switch coffee. The second is consistency between doses — whatever the grinder holds back after one grind joins the next one, and on espresso doses that is a real proportion of what ends up in the basket.
Version 3
Every unit we ship today is Version 3. The bellows is a custom branded, factory moulded silicone part — it is no longer 3D printed, as our earlier versions were.

Fitting
This hopper is made for the grinder named on this page. Fit tolerances vary between units and production runs, so minor adjustment may be needed to seat it perfectly on your grinder. Every unit is covered by our 2 year warranty.
