Bellows hopper for Raccea grinders, with fitting patches
This is our v3.0 bellows hopper cut for Raccea grinders, and it ships with three rubber patches included. Those patches are the point of this version, so it is worth explaining what they are for.
Why patches instead of one fixed size
Hopper mounts vary — between production runs, between units, and with wear on an older machine. A hopper machined to one exact diameter either fits perfectly or does not fit at all. The rubber patches let you build up the seat until the hopper sits snug and sealed on your particular grinder, rather than gambling on tolerance.
It is a low-tech solution and we would rather be honest that it is one. The alternative is a part that fits some Raccea grinders and gets returned by everyone else.
How it works in use
Fit the hopper, adding patches until it seats without play. Then weigh in a single dose, grind, and press the silicone bellows — the air pushes grounds out of the burr chamber and chute rather than leaving them to carry into the next dose. The air-leak prevention gasket is what makes that puff effective rather than escaping around the rim, which is also why a snug seat matters.
Version 3
Every unit we ship today is Version 3. The bellows is a custom branded, factory moulded silicone part — it is no longer 3D printed, as our earlier versions were.

Fitting
This hopper is made for the grinder named on this page. Fit tolerances vary between units and production runs, so minor adjustment may be needed to seat it perfectly on your grinder. Every unit is covered by our 2 year warranty.
